OUR MISSION AND SERVICES 

Our mission is to improve access to and coordinate comprehensive healthcare for those in need. Health Access Project (HAP) serves low-income, uninsured residents of Salt Lake County.

Every HAP client is assigned a Case Manager who works closely with each client and their providers in coordinating and arranging health care services they are in need of.

Coordinated Healthcare 

Our HAP Volunteer Provider Network consists of physicians,

nurse practitioners, dentists, hygienists, etc., all of whom donate their time and services in caring for our clients.

Health Insurance Assistance

Certified Application Counselors (CAC) at HAP provide assistance to individuals and families applying for public health insurance, such as Medicaid, CHIP, and the Marketplace.

INTERPRETATION SERVICES

Volunteer interpreters with HAP who speak a variety of different languages, interpret for our clients at their healthcare appointments.
